We're looking at a condo today and thought I would give you a heads-up on a few things to look out for when buying a condo in Tucson.
It's real popular doing flips on condos these days. Something to think about when you're looking at buying one, normally the units are identical above and that's the weak points. Where's the kitchen? Where's the bathrooms? typically that's where you get the leaks.
Here's a good example: Kitchen. Right behind this area in the kitchen is the AC unit. So I'm sure the AC unit upstairs had a leak at one point, the ceiling is cracked and kind of sagging in that spot. Identical situation in the master bathroom shower. The upstairs shower causes a saggy ceiling; you can see where it's been patched.
That's stuff we find on a regular basis on a home inspection, especially when performing a Condo Inspection.
